Begin a fascinating journey through the world of pedagogy, where theory meets the social and criminological reality, opening new perspectives for dedicated resocialization educators.

What is Pedagogy?

Pedagogy is a dynamic branch of the social sciences that blends in-depth educational knowledge with the analysis of criminological mechanisms. It delves deeply into the field of resocialization, placing educators in the role of mediators who understand and influence criminological processes. It also involves preventive, interventional, and community protection efforts in the face of negative environmental influences. Students in this program gain not only theoretical knowledge but also develop the practical skills essential to shaping the future of society, both in educational and socio-criminological contexts.

What will you learn?

By studying pedagogy, you will develop the ability to design resocialization programs, prevent destructive environmental influences, and carry out effective preventive and educational activities. You will learn to diagnose, create personalized resocialization strategies, and gain specialist criminological knowledge.

We offer two specialization modules:

1. Social Rehabilitation with Criminology

This specialization provides in-depth knowledge of criminology, preparing you to work in crime prevention and the analysis of deviant behavior mechanisms. You will understand the causes and consequences of behavioral disorders and learn how to apply appropriate intervention methods.

2. Social Rehabilitation with Training for Uniformed Services

Graduates of this path will be prepared to work in a variety of institutions, including socialization and resocialization centers, the police, and organizations that support victims of crime. You will acquire the skills needed for effective work in penitentiary environments.

Where can you work after graduation?

After completing the program, graduates will find employment in socialization and resocialization facilities, the police, as well as in associations and organizations focused on prevention and rehabilitation of children, youth, and adults. Career opportunities include working as a pedagogue, police officer, family assistant, or in various roles within local government institutions. You will gain versatile competencies to work in municipal guard units, addiction centers, streetworking, cultural centers, and other community-supporting institutions.

Studying Pedagogy opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities while equipping you with the tools needed to make a meaningful social impact. Transform your passion into practical skills by becoming an educator prepared to face the challenges of today’s world. Discover the compelling world of resocialization, gain a deep understanding of criminological processes, and prepare to creatively shape the future of communities.
