What is Psychology?
Our program combines psychology and pedagogy, offering practical skills necessary for professional success. Throughout the studies, you will develop a solid foundation in educational psychology, cognitive processes, work, organizational and management, as well as intercultural psychology. The mission of our program is not only to deliver theoretical knowledge but also to develop practical skills and social competences. Graduates of our program are independent humanists, ready to provide support, open to problems of the individual, and looking for continuous self-development. The program follows the latest trends in psychology, includes interdisciplinary collaboration, and prepares graduates to responsibly apply psychological knowledge in the job market and society. What will you learn?
In the psychology program, you will be offered fascinating lectures and practical classes, which will help you develop critical thinking skills, the ability to reflect on analyzed phenomena, and potential to continuous improvement of your knowledge and professional competences. During the program, in addition to traditional classes, you will also gain access to modern laboratories: a psychological testing laboratory, a focus group room, a sensory integration room, and a psychotechnical testing laboratory for drivers. Thanks to this, you will not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical skills, essential in your future career.
We offer two specializations:
1. Educational and Developmental Psychology – graduates of this specialization will acquire competences necessary to carry out caregiving, diagnostic, and therapeutic tasks in preschools, schools, and educational institutions, including psychological and pedagogical counseling centers. You will acquire comprehensive knowledge in areas such as general, developmental, and social psychology, individual differences, as well as specialized knowledge in psychological diagnosis, social and interpersonal communication, and child development stimulation.
2. Psychology in Healthcare – graduates of this specialization will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills useful in working with individuals affected by somatic and psychosomatic illnesses, or disabilities. Program includes diagnosing patients’ psychological problems, basic therapeutic strategies, and crisis support. Graduates will be prepared to conduct training sessions, workshops, develop preventive programs, and to effectively collaborate within interdisciplinary teams. The program also includes practical knowledge in the application of diagnostic tools, psychological support techniques, and scientific research methodology in psychology.

Graduates of the Psychology program are in high demand on the job market, opening doors to a variety of educational, social, care, medical, and health institutions.
With a specialization in Educational and Developmental Psychology, you can find employment in preschools, schools, and other educational institutions, carrying out caregiving, diagnostic, and therapeutic tasks.
With a specialization in Psychology in Healthcare, you will be prepared to work with individuals with somatic and psychosomatic conditions, and disabilities, finding employment in roles including conducting training, workshops, and preventative program development.
