What is Physiotherapy?

Our study program prepares you to become a qualified physiotherapist, combining solid theoretical knowledge with practical skills. We focus on professional support for patients on their path to full physical recovery, offering an innovative approach to learning and practice. You will gain access to the latest knowledge, modern laboratories and equipment, and clinical internships will allow you to acquire valuable experience in medical institutions.

What will you learn?

You will gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills –  from solid foundations in anatomy and physiology, through various techniques of physical medicine and massage, to kinesitherapy, i.e., the study of therapeutic exercises and movement training. You will learn the art of diagnosis and therapy by learning to recognize and treat various conditions as well as monitor the progress of therapy. An equally important part of your studies is professional internship, which includes numerous clinical internships in various medical settings. You will learn how to professionally support patients in their recovery to full physical functionality.

Where can you work after graduation?

After completing the Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, a wide range of career opportunities will open up for you. As a qualified physiotherapist, you will be in demand in various areas of healthcare and fields connected with physical activity and rehabilitation. You can work in hospitals, medical clinics, rehabilitation centers, physiotherapy practices, and long-term care facilities, supporting patients in maintaining mobility. Your skills will also be useful in sports and recreation, helping athletes recover from injuries and maintain good physical condition. You can also work in education as a lecturer at universities and schools, sharing your knowledge with future physiotherapists.
