What is Physical Education?

It is a new proposal for individuals with clearly defined interests in sports and health-recreational activities. It is a program for graduates of first-cycle (practical profile) studies. Training specialists in physical education provides a space to develop passions in the field of sport while receiving a comprehensive academic education for the teaching profession.

What will you learn?

The Master’s program in Physical Education and Sport offers the chance to acquire comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for working as a teacher, within two fields of study:

1. Sports Manager – In this specialization, students deepen their knowledge, skills, and attitudes appropriate for a manager in sport and recreation. This path prepares students to manage and finance sports organizations, plan sports events, and understand sports psychology. The curriculum highlights the role of public relations and marketing in physical culture.

2. Wellness & Recovery Trainer – In this specialization, students develop competencies and knowledge necessary for a recovery trainer, including balneotherapy and sports massage.

Students will additionally gain skills in manual therapy and wellness.

This path will allow students to familiarize themselves with the subject, as well as introduce students to the basics of physiotherapy and kinesitherapy in recreation, preparing them to offer professional support in achieving physical goals.
