What is Internal Security?
Internal Security is a key field within social sciences covering knowledge of state security systems, uniformed services, crisis management, and the analysis of contemporary threats. The program will prepare you to work in institutions responsible for public order, citizens’ safety, and the protection of state resources, as well as in the private sector dealing with the protection of persons, property, and data. The program emphasizes practical skills—from threat identification, through operational activities, to the use of modern technologies in security. Classes are conducted by specialists with experience in uniformed services, public administration, and security institutions.

Employment prospects in the public and private sectors:
Uniformed services, such as: the Police, Specialized Armed Security Formations, the State Fishing Guard, the Armed Forces (including Special Forces), the Prison Service, the Border Guard, the State Fire Service, the Municipal Guard, the Railway Security Guard, the Marshal Guard, the State Protection Service, the Internal Security Agency, the Intelligence Agency, the Military Intelligence and Counterintelligence Service, the Customs and Fiscal Service, the Government Protection Bureau, the Forest Guard, and others.
Public administration: Graduates of the program are sought after in central and local government offices, including the areas of crisis management and civil protection, security, and civil defense, as well as in migration security teams, information security units, monitoring and cybersecurity teams, crisis management teams, and teams responsible for environmental security.
Private sector: security companies and detective agencies (from managing facility security to risk analysis and security strategy planning). Corporations, especially international ones, employ experts in corporate risk management, cybersecurity, and the protection of data and resources. Consulting companies in the field of risk analysis and advisory services (from physical security to digital threats). Areas related to new technologies (IT security, data protection, cybersecurity).
